Autism Alliance of Michigan (AAoM)
AAoM is dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals and families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorders through education, comprehensive services, coordinated advocacy, and cutting-edge research.

 

Autism Center at OCALI
The Autism Center at OCALI provides a clearinghouse of information on research, resources and trends to address the autism challenge. The center offers a source for training, technical assistance, resources, and consultation to build program capacity and individual learning and growth.

 

Autism Society of America
ASA advocates on behalf of the 1.5 million American children and adults with autism. ASA publishes the Advocate magazine, organizes the largest national conference on autism and is the leader of a network of 200 chapters providing education and support to families, educators and health professionals across the country.

 

Autism Society of Michigan
Committed to empowering individuals with autism and their families by offering educational resources and materials, workshops, seminars and other service.

 

Autism Source
Search nationwide autism-related services and supports by location or service type. The Autism SourceTMResource Database, created in 2004, is the most comprehensive database of its kind. The Autism Society strives to offer only credible and reliable resources to our constituents, therefore we have employed our nationwide network of chapters and collaborated with other autism organizations and professionals throughout the U.S.

 

Autism Speaks
The nation's largest autism science and advocacy organization, dedicated to funding research into the causes, prevention, treatments and a cure for autism; increasing awareness of autism spectrum disorders; and advocating for the needs of individuals with autism and their families. We are proud of what we've been able to accomplish and look forward to continued successes in the years ahead.

 

Statewide Autism Resource and Training Project (START)
The Statewide Autism Resources and Training (START) Project is a state-funded project designed to provide training and technical assistance to educators in Michigan that serve students with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD).

 

Autism Research Institute
Conducts research, and disseminates the results of research, on the causes of autism and on methods of preventing, diagnosing and treating autism.

 

Caring 4 Our Kids
This is a group of parents of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and a few comorbid diseases such as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia.  They've come together and are creating a site of original and curated resources to help individuals on the Autism Spectrum.  

 

Michigan Alliance for Families
Michigan Alliance for Families provides information, support, and education for families who have children (birth through 26 years of age) who receive (or may be eligible to receive) special education services. This website can help you with finding information on educational issues as well as disability specific information.
